Shipping & Delivery

Shipping:  Using UPS, DS Wood has the capability to ship anywhere and everywhere in a timely fashion.  The customer has the option to choose whichever shipping option (normal ground, air, next-day air) that he/she chooses.  The cost of shipping will depend on where the zip code of the receiving address is located in relation to DS Wood headquarters.  Though the customer has the option of choosing the best shipping option available, the customer is responsible for paying the shipping charge that is added to the total cost of the order, which is represented in the final price.  DS Wood also reserves the right to waive any shipping cost if specified by a member of the company to the customer in any sort of unforeseen circumstance.  Although we do everything in our power to ensure that your product is packed away safely in a shipping box to the point where the product should not be harmed during delivery, if something should happen to the bat during delivery (i.e. nicks, chips, cuts, flakes), please call one of the numbers provided on the “Contact Us” page or email us at info@dswoodbats.com as we would love to hear about what happened and try to accommodate the customer as best we can. 
Delivery:  Since DS Wood specializes in the making of the best custom wood bats available in the industry, it does take time to get all the specs, colors, and engraving exactly right to what the customer requests. In doing so, please allow final production of your order to take 10-15 business days. That being said, when there are moments in time when we become jam packed with orders, and although we will try to ensure that your order gets sent out between the previously specified time period, we may have some backlog but it is our promise to our customer that we will put all of our efforts into crafting your bat as soon as possible. On the same note, there are times when we have the ability to get orders out quicker than the allotted time above. As always, we at DS love to contact our customers and develop relationships with you so if you would like to place a rush order or would like to put something on back order to save it for a later date, whatever it may be, please do not hesitate to call one of the numbers provided on the “Contact Us” page or email us at info@dswoodbats.com.

Privacy & Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure.  In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to the safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Returns & Replacements

Returns:  Because wood is a naturally occurring product, we do not guarantee against breakages of any kind.  DS Wood reserves the right to maintain the policy that once the bat has been swung one time, there is no more refund available to the customer. However, we know there are sometimes extreme cases in which we, as a company, reserve the right to hear the case from the customer themselves in which we will decide whether or not the product we provided was defective and award the customer with a return guarantee.
Replacements:  Our products are custom made to your specifications.  Although on our website we may have suggestions as to which customization style (i.e. knob style, length, weight, etc.) is best suitable for a certain model, the complete order to entirely up the customer.  DS Wood is in no way responsible for the way the customer creates his/her own product.  We only make it! Therefore, we cannot provide any returns based on any mistakes made in the ordering process.  

Ordering

The process of ordering a DS Wood bat, arm sleeve, apparel item, or wrist cuff that occurs on this website is based solely on the customer’s interest.  However, we will obey all federal and state copyright and trade laws.  Although we have the capabilities to engrave whatever you can imagine, DS Wood reserves the right to deny any engraving/color/customization at our discretion that we feel defames any individual/entity in any way.  If there is something in particular that you would like engraved (i.e. logo, name, picture, etc) that you are not totally sure would be available or legal, please do not hesitate to call one of the numbers provided on the “Contact Us” page or email us at info@dswoodbats.com to ask one of the customer service reps for any answer your looking for. 

Payment, Pricing & Promotions

Payment:  DS Wood accepts payment methods including cash, credit card, and checks.  We accept all forms of credit cards including, but not limited to, MasterCard, American Express, VISA, Discover Card, and PayPal.  If a customer decides to pay with a credit card, your standard information will be required at the time of purchase.  If the customer chooses to pay with a check, it is asked that the customer please make out the check to “DS Wood, LLC.” and promptly place the check in the mail to the address that is laid out on this website.  Just as with checks, if the customer chooses to pay with cash, it is asked that said customer please place the exact change in a sealed envelope and promptly sent to the address laid out on this website.  Because these are custom made products, there are no COD’s and your order will be put in queue when final payment is submitted.  For check or cash payments, order will not be placed in queue until full payment is received by DS Wood.  If there are any questions about the address or questions about whether or not payment has been received by DS Wood, feel free to call one of the numbers provided on the “Contact Us” page or email us at info@dswoodbats.com.  
Pricing:  We feel that the prices laid out on the DS Wood website are reasonably fair and extremely competitive with the other companies in the industry.  The varying prices on each bat reflect the grade of billet that the customer is interested in purchasing, the higher grade of billet, the higher the price.  DS Wood reserves the right to maintain the prices laid out on the website but also the right to increase the price if demand in the market should increase at any point in time.  DS Wood must also comply with the Pennsylvania State Sales Tax law laid out by the Pennsylvania State Department of Revenue at 6% sales tax.  This tax is only applicable to those customers who purchase from the state of Pennsylvania.  Therefore, the sales tax is not applicable to those customers placing orders outside of the Commonwealth.  The sales tax should be added  to the final price at the final step of the customers ordering process.  If there is a problem that needs to be addressed, please feel free to call one of the provided numbers on the “Contact Us” page or email us at info@dswoodbats.com
Promotions:  All DS Wood promotions will be announced on the website and/or through the DS Wood Facebook and/or Twitter accounts.  Promotions/Discounts last as long as the members of the company see fit.  Promotions/Discounts will only apply to the items that will be listed on the promotional medium and, unless specified otherwise, will not be applicable to any other product.  If you have any questions about any current promotions/discounts or would like to know when the next DS Wood promotion/discount is happening, please feel free to call one of the numbers listed on the “Contact Us” page or email us at info@dswoodbats.com.

Viewing Orders

DS Wood will provide the customer, when requested, with the tracking number via email of the customer’s order.  Each package can be followed using the UPS tracking website.  For your convenience, the website is http://www.ups.com/tracking/tracking.html

Updating Account Information

DS Wood:  DS Wood reserves the right to update the account information on the website as often as the members of the company see fit.
